London Skyline

Enjoying an interesting day out in London and couldn’t help but notice how the city skyline has dramatically changed. We now have buildings known as the cheese grater, the gherkin, the walky talky and the shard. It would be fun to see what other gadgets or utensils children could use to inspire new designs of buildings.

Environmentally friendly Christmas play decorations

Year 1 have started their preparations for our Christmas play in the forest by making wooden stars out of twigs. A big well done to all the children as it was quite tricky doing all the knots and there was some fabulous teamwork taking place. All beginning to get excited.

Forest club

Great to be back in the forest after a few weeks of awful weather. One group of girls got really creative decorating their den with leaf table decorations and hangings.

Remembrance Day Parade In Abbots Langley

I was lovely to see such a great turn out for the Remembrance Day Parade. It is moving to see all the local groups and organisations laying their wreaths to remember those who lost their lives in the War. It is also inspiring to know that thousands of others were doing the same thing across the country at the same time.
