We began our World War 2 project with our Year 6 children today. We discussed the ‘dig for victory’ and ‘make do and mend’ campaigns and explained that the children will be able to choose which project to get involved with over the next half term. We started by practising sewing skills by creating bunting for the garden.
Working together building our nest. Have we made it well enough to entice any visitors? Let’s wait and see…
A great afternoon with nursery and year 2 working together on our school igloo. Please be careful when you see it on the playground.
The children in Reception began to think about the special love we have for our families and created some beautiful printed hearts.
Reception children were inspired by the wildlife photography our Year 4 and 5 children took under the guidance of Iain Green @naturebygreen and created their own snowdrop art.
